Under the guidance of the renowned Chef Vitor Matos, our restaurants are distinguished by the use of seasonal and regional products, genuine and fresh, thus enhancing their taste. The Chef's cuisine has Mediterranean influences and is a blend of tradition and new gastronomic trends.

Vitor Matos has been a jury member
in various competitions, as well as a
speaker at various congresses
and seminars.
He is currently the Chef de Cuisine
and also gastronomic consultant
at the Vidago Palace Hotel, where
he gives wings to his imagination
and where technique, typical
products and emotion are present
in his creations. His main goal is to
provide a unique and unforgettable
gastronomic experience. The revisiting
of the Portuguese cuisine is
in the essence of the Chef's concept.
Meet our selection of Venues
With imposing dimensions, the main restaurant "Salão Nobre", is one of the most glamorous and refined rooms of Vidago Palace Hotel. Once the stage for large and luxurious parties, it has been transformed into a Gourmet Restaurant.
A gigantic handmade wool (Beiriz) carpet (200 sqm), framed by a floorboard, covers the floor.
Golden wallpaper, with stylised vegetables and birds in white watercolour, illuminate the hall. An inner balcony frames this enormous hall. At night, original bronze and crystal chandeliers illuminate the space.
The refined cuisine of the Salão Nobre features traditional dishes from Northern Portugal that have been deconstructed and reinterpreted to offer a sophisticated sample of the region's best menu.
Lunch: Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: 12h30 to 15h00
Dinners: Daily: 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm
November to March: closed on Tuesdays

Designed as a bistrot and a wine shop, the traditional Wine Cellar of the Vidago Palace Hotel is a welcoming space for conviviality. Spacious, about 150 sqm distributed by several distinct spaces in shades of grey and blue.
In addition to the wine cellar, this is also the perfect place to wine tasting, as well as Portuguese snacks and Spanish tapas.
Here, there are several three-legged tables with schist tops and cast-iron feet, which are distributed over a floor of wine-coloured and beige cement mosaics, with tile motifs. Light wicker chairs and stools give the space the relaxed and elegant ambience of a café.
On a long counter, illuminated by Hurricane lamps, a majestic metal cash register is the signature of the vintage style of the space.
Tuesday to Saturday, from 7pm to 10.30pm, for guests and visitors.

The ideal place to start your day in an environment full of natural light. The Jardim de Inverno restaurant is located on the ground floor and is bathed in natural light daily due to its large glass skylight.
On a black and white checkered marble floor, six columns topped by exotic foliage plants organise the space in rows. Several velvet stools occupy the centre, facing the square tables with their red lacquered top and wrought iron feet. It is in this stunning space that breakfast is served, with a magnificent buffet of pastries, delicious fresh fruit and hot and cold specialities.
Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 to 10:30 and until 11:00 on weekends and public holidays.

Designed in the style of an 18th century literary salon, the Quatro Estações Room is designed for conversations and the rituals of everyday life.
With plenty of natural light all year round, thanks to its triple sun exposure.
Carefully decorated with eclectic furnishings, the walls are lined with copper-coloured silk paper (de Gournay). The French windows, which open onto the terraces, are lined with stonecoloured silks. Several Fortuny chandeliers of painted silk emphasize the theme of the Bar's light fittings.
The Quatro Estações Room is open daily. At the Bar, which is open between 11am and 11pm, you can also enjoy a refreshing Five o'clock Tea, available from 4pm to 6pm.

The Vidago Palace Hotel Pool Bar is the ideal space to enjoy an environment in perfect harmony with nature. The simplicity and freshness of the pool, invites you to enjoy a cool drink, a light meal or simply relax in one of the existing lounges, inserted in the full landscape of the Park.

The Vidago Palace Hotel Club House Bar and Restaurant occupies a unique space. Designed to be simultaneously spacious and welcoming, it offers a calm, serene ambience. During the winter months the crackle of the fireplace invites you to unwind, while in summer many people take advantage of the outdoor terraces to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the park. At any time of year, a drink in the Club House or an informal meal among friends is the ideal way to end your round of golf!
