THE PARK
The Park of Vidago is an elegant domain surrounding the Palace – its trees date back to and before the beginning of the 20th century. Interspersed throughout the woods are shaded paths where visitors can walk and immerse themselves in the natural beauty, peace and tranquillity of this green oasis. A spectacle of majestic trees and shrubs abounds as well a large variety of wildlife that resides in the park. The purity of the air and the fountains of natural mineral waters are factors in contributing the “well being effects” of this park. The visitor cannot remain indifferent to the Magnolia grandiflora with their impressive flowers, to the Camelia japonica and their surprising dimensions, to the royal alignments of Platanus hispanicus… A whole universe of fauna and flora add to the magic of the park.
