GOLF
As in fine wines, clock making and jewellers, there are exquisite golf courses and Vidago Palace will soon have one. Designed by Cameron & Powell, the old golf course of the Vidago Palace – a classic “ Mackenzie Ross 9 hole course” dating back to 1936 – is being reborn by embracing international standards. In the course of the reconstruction, the new golf course at Vidago Palace will have 18 holes, spread over an enlarged and redesigned terrain. (Back tee 6327m Par 72) In addition to the course, Vidago Palace will also offer a Golf Academy with a driving range. An old stone house dating back to 1886, will be the Club House – the building will have a restaurant, bar & a Pro Shop.
